Chinese American Museum DC Show

This Mid-Autumn season, Cloudbridge Chinese Academy students took the stage at the Chinese American Museum DC (CAMDC) for a vibrant celebration of culture, art, and childhood joy.

Surrounded by history and creativity, our young performers brought Chinese traditions to life through stories, songs, dance, and hands-on experiences.

Students from Cloudbridge Chinese Academy celebrated the Mid-Autumn Festival at the Chinese American Museum DC, sharing Chinese culture through stories, songs, dances, and creative activities.

They explored the museum’s interactive exhibits and learned about Chinese American history before taking the stage.

Performances included the classic story “The Monkey and the Moon,” the nursery rhyme “Little White Rabbit,” a graceful poem dance, and the energetic song-and-dance “Monkey King.”

Children also enjoyed craft making, face painting, and a hanfu photo session, followed by a joyful lantern parade to end the evening.

It was a night filled with learning, laughter, and light—celebrating tradition in a modern, creative way.
